AKC breeds.
By Akanett Web Publishing
There are many people in the world who love the idea of having a pet of some sort by their side. For many of these people the is considered as the ideal companion. While it is possible to get your loyal friend from pet stores, reputed breeders, animal shelters and other places you may want to see what breed is waiting for you at the American Kennel Club. Here you should be able to find a perfect pet from the many AKC breeds.

You can visit the AKC center that is near you to see these different breeds or you can check out their web site. While both of these options are available to you the former might cause you to adopt a breed that is unsuitable for your living style. So you may want to look in their web site for the first round of choosing.

From the list of AKC breeds that are listed see the names of the dogs that you know. The links which are on the list page will provide you with the relevant information that you will need. This information will include a description of the dog, the temperament – this will let you know if you can give the the love, care and living space it needs –, the care and what you will need to know about any health concerns.

You should read this information carefully as you will be able to see if you are looking at a potential pet. You should however keep at least several different breeds in mind when you are making a final choice. There is one similarity that you will find when you look at the AKC breeds page with that of other breeder web pages. This is the ability of choosing your pet alphabetically or by groups of breeds.

In the AKC breeds pet list page the various breeds have been placed into certain groups. These groups are based on certain traits and criteria which will help potential owners pick their with ease. These divisions place the AKC breeds into groups like AKC recognized breeds, miscellaneous class breeds, and foundation stock service breeds.

The breeds which are placed in these different groups will have certain qualities listed. For instance the dogs in the foundation stock service breeds will have links to rare pure breed dogs. These are dogs which certain types of lovers would love to have ownership of.

When you visit the AKC web site you will find all of the information that you require for taking care of your new pet. From grooming your pet to training to even having fun, all the items that you need for the complete care of your pet is available here. You will find the perfect pet for you and your lifestyle when you choose from one of the great AKC breeds.

Training Your Dog
Obedient dogs make the best companions. Time spent dog training will reward you with a pet that is deeply bonded to you, respects you and is a joy to have around. Dog training doesn't mean extinguishing her unique personality, it is simply a means of setting boundaries-something that makes dogs feel secure. Some owners unconsciously train their dogs to exhibit bad behaviors. Since dogs are social animals, they are interested in doing whatever gets them attention. Positive attention is best, but if negative attention is all they can get from you, they'll try to obtain that......
