By Akanett Web Publishing

You have absolutely no idea what type of you want, you only know that your neighbor’s new is the cutest thing on four legs. The yellow Lab puppy which you saw in the pet store today staring at you from behind the plate glass window is even now tugging at your memory and you only just barely resist the urge to run down to the store and get it for yourself.

You want to get a and now that the germ of an idea has taken root in your head, you want your now! However, you’ve heard so many horror stories about dogs and owners not properly matching together, and heartrending stories where the dogs are so cruelly abandoned that you do think twice about impulsively getting the yellow Lab puppy.

Since you do want the yellow Lab puppy so badly however, you decide to give yourself a break and do a little research about the Labrador breed. By doing this you are ensuring that you get a better idea of what is expected of you in looking after your little yellow Lab puppy, and what you can expect back from the puppy as it matures to a full grown dog.

So the first thing that you will want to know is that most dogs have a generally long lifespan and the Labrador breed itself can live up to 12-13 years, and obviously depending on the dog, this can vary and you might find that your lives for a good 18-19 years. These are of course not the norm, but the point here is that getting a is a lifetime commitment. You need to know that you won’t get tired of the novelty of owning a and treat it carelessly or worse still abandon it.

Having gotten that out of the way, you can then go on to look at the various characteristics that you can expect in your yellow Lab puppy. These can be wide ranging, but most commonly you will find that Labradors are a very intelligent breed. They are very trainable and they have a gentle temperament. This makes them ideal companions for handicapped people, and many Labradors are taken for this purpose.

Labradors also have a gentle nature which makes the ideal pet for families with young children. If they are left alone, not exercised properly, or overfed they can become sedentary, and this is really the last thing that you want to do to your frisky energetic bundle of Labrador.

Play with your yellow Lab puppy, exercise it thoroughly and also make sure to shower it with loving care and attention and you can be assured that for years to come you will be awarded for your attentions.

end of the week woohoo
What do you know? It's already the end of the week! YAY! I have to say, I couldn't wait for the weekend to arrive, since my week at work was so crazy! So, today is casual day at work; no barbie clothing required. Im just wearing jeans and my white Phat Farm walkers...if only it was casual day everyday! I actually feel weird not wearing dressy cloths today; I sorta got used to it over the course of the last month. But, then again, everybody needs a break! So, schedule of the day; meeting one of the lawyers to give him his super procedures I had to type. Replace my receptionist from... (more)

I realize I haven't posted for a few days, and I feel neglectful. I apologize, and I must admit that postings may become less frequent. Despite what I told all of you and myself, I have decided to go back to work full time. My coworker who works the full time shift in the evening that would work out for me is resigning, and my boss wants me in that position. At first I declined, saying I really wouldn't want to work more than 3-4 shifts a week. (That was my desire for a nap talking!) I began to think about how perfect this job was for me - it enabled me to, first and foremost, avoid putting... (more)
